Larry Ng is the Commissioner General, Singapore Pavilion, Expo 2020 Dubai UAE and Prize Secretary, Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize. Mr Ng is also appointed by the Minister for National Development as the Registrar of the Board of Architects, Singapore since 2006, with the mission to enhance competency, integrity and professionalism of the practice of architecture in Singapore. As the Registrar, he chaired the ASEAN Mutual Recognition Agreement on Architectural Services from 2006 to 2009 and was instrumental in the setting up of the ASEAN Architects Council. He also served as Chairman of the ASEAN Business Services Sectoral Working Group from 2010 to 2017, with the mission to achieve mobility of professionals within ASEAN. He was also involved in the APEC Architect Project since 2006 and was also instrumental in setting up the new Reciprocal Recognition Framework. Mr Ng has extensive experience in the planning, design and implementation of public housing in Singapore. In his long career with the HDB, he has been involved in the master planning of new towns and design and supervision of various types of projects including high rise public housing, commercial, industrial, institutional, Main Upgrading Programme (MUP), Hawker Upgrading Programme (HUP) and also studio apartments for the elderly. With more than 20 years experience as an architect, Mr Ng has introduced many innovative design solutions to bring up the standards of public housing which is comparable to those of private housing. He was actively involved in the World Cities Summit (WCS) since its inauguration in 2008 and served as the Managing Director from 2012 to 2018. WCS is an exclusive and premier global platform for government leaders and industry experts to address liveable and sustainable city challenges, share integrated urban solutions and forge new partnerships. The key events include organising the Mayors Forum, the Young Leaders Symposium and the Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize Lecture, Forum and the Award Ceremony and Banquet. He is appointed as the Prize Secretary for the Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize since 2009. The Prize is a biennial international award that honours outstanding achievements and contributions to the creation of liveable, vibrant and sustainable urban communities around the world. The Prize is awarded to cities and recognises their key leaders and organisations for displaying foresight, good governance and innovation in tackling the many urban challenges faced, to bring about social, economic and environmental benefits in a holistic <span>way to their communities.</span>

H Koon Wee is Assistant Professor at the HKU Department of Architecture, and founding director of the Cities in Asia Summer Program. He served as the Academic Director of the HKU Shanghai Study Center between 2008-2011. He received a number of international accolades for the design of industrial buildings and campuses, such as Blueprint, Green Dot, LEAF, and the Chicago Athenaeum Awards. Koon was selected to be the co-director for the 2017 Architecture Festival “Archifest” by the Singapore Institute of Architects. He is a founding member of the Docomomo Hong Kong Chapter, and advisory board member of Asian Urban Lab. He supports governments and NGOs in advisory roles, including the Singapore Centrefor Liveable Cities’ Leaders in Urban Governance Programme, Design Singapore Council, Hong Kong Buildings Department, Haiti International University Centre, Orphans International, AA Asia, and Modern Asian Architecture Network.

<span>Eunice Seng is Associate Professor and Chair of the Departmental Research Postgraduate Committee in Architecture at the University of Hong Kong and Principal of SKEW Collaborative Shanghai-Hong Kong. She is a founding member of Docomomo Hong Kong and Co-Director of the Singapore Institute of Architects Archifest 2017. Trained as an architect and architectural historian, her work explores interdisciplinary intersections and questions of agency in architecture. A forthcoming book, <em>Resistant City: Histories, Maps and the Architecture of Development</em> (2020) explores urban resilience and architecture’s complicit role in Hong Kong.</span>

Constance Singam is an author and civil society activist holding a Master’s degree in Literature, the former president of the Association of Women for Action and Research (AWARE Singapore) and has also co-founded civil society groups, been a columnist in several national publications, and contributed to and co-edited several books. Professor Kwok Kian-Woon is a Sociology faculty and currently <span>Associate Vice President (Wellbeing)</span> at Nanyang Technological University. His research interests include the study of social memory, mental health, civil society, and heritage and the arts. As a sociologist and a citizen, he has been actively involved in public life. He has served on many key committees of the National Heritage Board, on the boards of the NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore and the Intercultural Theatre Institute, and as external advisor to the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. He was President (1997-2001) of the Singapore Heritage Society, which has worked with many Singaporeans to shape the national agenda on heritage conservation.

Sharon Siddique, a development sociologist, is currently a Visiting Professorial Fellow at the LKY CIC (Lee Kuan Yew Centre for Innovative Cities) at SUTD (Singapore University of Technology and Design) and a director of Sreekumar.Siddique & Co, a regional research consulting firm, founded in 1994. She specialises in policy design and socio-political strategy for public and private sector corporations, and in urban development and social restructuring in Southeast Asia. She is also a director of the Asian Urban Lab, which is a not-for-profit company set up to promote research and networking on architecture and urbanism in Asia. She previously worked at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (1977-1994). She has published widely in newspapers, journals, and books. Alvin is the Founder and Artistic Director of The Necessary Stage and a leading proponent of devising theatre in Singapore, having directed more than 70 plays which have been staged localled and at international festivals. He has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship and in 1998, was conferred the Young Artist Award for Theatre. In 2010, Alvin was conferred the Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture, in recognition of his significant contribution to the arts. The following year, he was awarded Best Director at 2011 The Straits Times Life! Theatre Awards for Model Citizens by The Necessary Stage. Alvin was previously invited by the Ministry of Education to design a drama syllabus at 'O' Levels for implementation in schools. In 2014, Alvin was conferred the Cultural Medallion for his artistic excellence and contribution to Singapore’s arts and cultural landscape. He is also currently the Artistic Director of Peer Pleasure, an annual youth-oriented theatre festival in Singapore.

Prof Paul Teng is Dean and Managing Director, National Institute of Education International (NIEI), the education consultancy/outreach arm of NIE. He assumed this position on 1 January 2018 after serving as NIE Principal Officer from 1 July 2014. Prof Teng served as NIE’s Dean, Office of Graduate Studies & Professional Learning from 1 November 2006 to 2014. He was Head, Natural Sciences and Science Education (NSSE) Academic Group from 2004 to 2006.<br /><span>Prof Teng has extensively researched food security generally, and specifically on the role of plant diseases in causing epidemics and crop losses in several continents, working cooperatively with a network of national programme scientists. The work has led to over 250 journal papers, eight books and numerous conference papers, and recognition by peer organisations. His pioneering work on using system analysis and computer modelling techniques to quantify and predict biological phenomena, and conduct risk assessments, is still having impact today in the USA and Asian rice growing countries. More recently, he has devoted his time to researching science communication and science entrepreneurship to meet the needs of new economies. He is a regular invited speaker on agricultural biotechnology, other disruptive technologies and their roles in transforming agriculture and rural economies. </span><span> </span>
