<span>Leah Whitman-Salkin (USA/ALB) is an editor based in Tirana, Albania. Committed to the collaborative aspect of editing, her work explores translation, the space of the visual and the written, and the process of making public through publishing. In 2016 she was the curator, with Simon Battisti and Åbäke, of the Albanian Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale—an editorial experiment in translation, music, and emotive spaces. She is deputy editor of Harvard Design Magazine, and former editor at Sternberg Press.</span>

While focusing on a few projects, she will discuss the editorial thinking in developing a publishing series and a magazine, but also all the production aspects involved in the field: the complex system of connections between editor/publisher, writer, designer and distributor. The presentation will be followed up by a conversation with Anca Rujoiu, NTU CCA Singapore Curator, Exhibitions.
