Charmaine Koh (b. 1985) is a Singaporean artist whose video and writing practice explores the tropes and legacies that intervene in the construction of place and place-based identity. Through juxtapositions of filmed footage, personal narrative, and online imagery, she probes the disjunctures that arise from mismatched cultural frameworks, distance, urban redevelopment, and the digital realm. In parallel, her painting practice draws on tropes of landscape, literature, and design. Koh graduated in 2018 with an MFA in Fine Arts and an MA in Visual & Critical Studies from California College of the Arts, California, USA. Long-form biography for the Contributor (no character count). A short-form biography (no more than 240 characters) should be added to the Contributor's Description

Stanya Kahn (b. 1968) is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in video with a practice that includes drawing, sound, writing, performance, and sculpture/installation. Humor, pathos, and the uncanny emerge as central modes in a hybrid media practice that seeks to re-work relationships between fiction and document, the real and the hyper-real, and narrative time and the synchronic time of impulse. In a long-term investigation of how rhetoric gains and loses power, Kahn’s projects often situate language in the foreground of works that are dialectically driven by the demands of the body. Recent solo exhibitions include shows at the New Museum, New York, USA; Susanne Vielmetter Los Angeles Projects, Marlborough Chelsea, New York, USA; Weiss Berlin, Berlin, Germany; and Cornerhouse, Manchester, UK.

Kahn is also a 2012 Guggenheim Fellow in Film/Video. Select group exhibitions include the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles, USA; the New Museum, New York, USA; Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego, USA; Fernley Astrup, Oslo, Norway; and The California Biennial, California, USA. Her collaborative work with Harry Dodge has shown at Elizabeth Dee Gallery, New York, USA; the Whitney Biennial 2008, New York, USA; Sundance Film Festival, Utah, USA; Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, USA; Museum of Modern Art, New York, USA; and ZKM, Karlsrüh, Germany, among others. She was a contributing writer and actor in feature film By Hook or By Crook. Her writings and drawings appear in multiple publications including Die Laughing (2nd Cannons), Moving Image (MIT Press), It's Cool, I'm Good (Cornerhouse), and Abstract Video (UC Press).

Often engaging in collaborations with fellow artists as a method of experimenting across mediums, Irfan creates intricate worlds guided by a principle of visceral ephemerality in an attempt to redefine boundaries between performance, artwork, artist, and audience. Since 2010, he is the Associate Artist at the Singapore-based theatre company Teater Ekamatra. His recent theatre directions include King (2020-2023) and performance lecture The Death of Singapore Theatre as Scripted By The Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (2022), and the immersive theatrical installation The Silence of a Fallen Tree (2020) amongst many others. The evocative and subtly layered works of Chua Chye Teck (b. 1974, Singapore) result from prolonged visual and experiential quests. His body of work draws attention to the discarded and the overlooked articulating a reflection on the multiple processes of disappearing that result from the impact of progress and development on the natural environment. His works have been exhibited in venues such as at Singapore Art Museum (2021), Tai Kwun Contemporary, Hong Kong (2020), Jendela Esplanade, Singapore (2018, 2015), Institute of Contemporary Arts, Singapore (2017), Chiang Mai University Art Centre, Thailand (2015), and Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin, Germany (2010).
