Erin Gleeson is a curator and noted specialist on contemporary art from Cambodia. She co-founded and is currently Artistic Director of SA SA BASSAC, an exhibition and residency space and reading room dedicated to facilitating, mediating and archiving contemporary art projects and dialogues in and from Cambodia. She has collaborated with numerous partners including Art Asia Archive, Artsonje Center, Asian Cultural Council, 6th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art, Center for Curatorial Studies Bard College, dOCUMENTA 13, Para Site Art Space, Parsons The New School for Design, San Art and Tokyo Wonder Site, among others. Recent projects include the exhibition and book "Phnom Penh: Rescue Archaeology," ifa, Berlin and Stuttgart, 2013 and the 4th Singapore Biennale. Gleeson is a 2012 nominee of ICIs Independent Vision Award and a 2013 Foundation for Arts Initiatives grantee.
