Title

Notes on traversality: why walk/talk/think together, a talk by Julia Moritz, Curator of Theory and Programmes at Kunsthalle Zurich

Description

Sun 26 Jul 2015, 3:00 - 5:00 pm
Block 43 Malan Road, Seminar Room

Visiting art historian and curator Julia Moritz, will play off some ideas on convening, cohabiting, combating and, importantly, walking – as an opportunity to consider issues of psycho-geography, public programming, and artistic research. Unresolved issues, that do not only harbour the capacity to analyse the meaning of motion in art and thinking, but that themselves traverse various fields of theory and praxis including some crucial changes in speed and structure, and perhaps a tendency towards symbiotic rather than symbolic relations.
