ADM & NTU CCA Singapore Pecha Kucha Night No. 2

Dublin Core

Title

ADM & NTU CCA Singapore Pecha Kucha Night No. 2

Description

Join us for an informal evening of research presentations by ADM faculty and NTU CCA Artists-in-Residence. The first in a series of informal creative exchanges, this forum aims to encourage dialogue around shared research interests amongst ADM faculty and NTU CCA Artists-in-Residence. We ultimately endeavour to establish a format for dialogue, which will function across disciplines to support the research goals of ADM, NTU CCA Singapore and NTU at large.

Following the “Pecha Kucha” (20x20) format, each participant may present up to 20 “slides” (moving or still images, sound, interactive media) for a maximum of 20 seconds per slide. Limiting each presentation to 6m40s, we expect an engaging and dynamic exchange. These informal presentations should run about one hour after which, we will open the floor for feedback and open discussion with a focus on overlaps between creative practices.

This will be an internal and casual event, open to NTU faculty, students and staff and NTU CCA Singapore artists and staff. Attendees will be encouraged to contribute food and drinks.

A shuttle will be kindly sponsored by ADM to transport participants and attendees to and from NTU CCA and NTU ADM.

The exhibition space will be open until 9pm on that Friday, so participants and guests who arrive early will have the opportunity to see Yang Fudong: Incidental Scripts.

This seminar is an initiative of NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore and ADM Faculty. This event is organised by Amanda Moore, Visiting Junior Researcher (NTU CCA Singapore) and Ina Conradi-Chavez, Asst Prof (ADM).
