Yoshi Fajar Kresno Murti is an architect, lecturer, and researcher who has long been involved in organizing, documenting, and advocating for urban kampong spaces. Since 2009 onward he has been the coordinator of research and program development at the Indonesian Visual Art Archive (IVAA), Yogyakarta. He works independently as an architect with a process-based form of architecture called “Ugahari”, and has been involved in a number of collaborative projects building houses, community spaces and public buildings. He is the author of a book of catalog data Art and Social Issues (2011), and The Pating Tlecek Architecture Space (2012), and as editor of book Arsipelago: Archival Work & Archiving Art & Culture in Indonesia (2014).
