Wei Guan is the Co-Founder of Bananafish Books established in 2010 as the first art book bookstore which focus on importing independent publishing around the world. Bananafish Books is the pioneer of “independent publishing” in China, with the aim liberating self and small scale publishing from the traditional system. Guan completed his Master's degree in Germany, bringing back experiences and knowledge through visiting local independent bookstores to China. He also serves as Art Director of Shanghai Art Book Fair.
