Ng Kim Chuan (Singapore) founded the NTU Community Herb Garden in 2009 together with a small group of volunteers comprising of staff, students and members of the public, to serve as a charitable resource of medicinal herbs for the poor and the needy. The garden is dedicated to the cultivation of medicinal plants and is home to more than 300 species of tropical plants and herbs with medicinal properties.
