Incepted in 2004, Singapore Management University’s (SMU) resident Afro-Brazillian percussion band began as a humble dhol percussion group. Ever since, Samba Masala has taken on both local and international stages and wowed audiences to establish itself as an esteemed batucada.

Under the tutelage of Eddy Hamid, Rajay Singh and Farah Demorais, one of Singapore’s leading percussionists, Samba Masala has enthralled audiences worldwide in the United States, United Kingdom and Germany.
