Billy Tang is the Senior Curator of the Rockbund Art Museum (RAM) in Shanghai. His previous projects introduced moving-image artists to new audiences in China, commissioning large-scale works of young artists, and curating projects that disrupt the architectural function and experience of the exhibition space. Previous exhibitions include: “Curtain” (2021 with Cosmin Costinas, Larys Frogier, Celia Ho, Anqi Li, Xu Tiantian), “HUGO BOSS ASIA ART 2019”, “An Opera for Animals” (2019 with Cosmin Costinas, Claire Shea, and Hsieh Feng Rong), and a solo exhibition with Tobias Rehberger (2019 with Larys Frogier). His writings have appeared in ArtAsiaPacific, Leap, and Mousse Magazine.
