Otty Widasari (b. 1973, Indonesia) was a journalist and art director for TV during 1999-2004. She is one of the founders of the Forum Lenteng, a community development project which uses media (video, photography and texts) as tools to unveil socio-cultural problems. Widasari has been coordinator for the akumassa program of Forum Lenteng as well as Chief Editor for it‚ online community journal for the last three years. Since 2002, she has been making documentary films for non-profit organizations. In 2007, she was nominated for the Indonesian Art Award. A selection of exhibitions include TRANSLATED SPACE, Contemporary Art of Indonesia, in Kunstraum Krausberg, Berlin 2011 AKUMASSA Images. Widasari was also one of the founders of Footage Journal (www.jurnalfootage.net) a film and video journal in dual languages.

Widasari was Artist-in-Residence at NTU CCA Singapore, between October and November 2015, where she continued to work on the video work Fiksi (Fiction) that includes footage of the diorama section at the National Monument, Jakarta, drawing attention to state-driven efforts to establish historical truths in the collective memory of a nation.
